略歴　　　I was born in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1993. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Gebze Technical University, Turkey, graduating in 2016. Following this, I pursued my Master’s thesis at Yeditepe University. Presently, I am a second-year doctoral student.

コメント　My research focuses on the pharmacological effect of HNMT inhibitors. Histamine, a crucial neurotransmitter, influences diverse body functions. HNMT (Histamine N-Methyltransferase) inhibitors, targeting histamine regulation, show promise in managing conditions related to histamine imbalance, such as narcolepsy—a neurological disorder characterized by disrupted sleep-wake cycles. Understanding their effects can lead to novel therapies for sleep disorders and other related conditions.

略歴　　　I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from De La Salle University (DLSU) – Manila, with my undergraduate thesis centered on cellulose-based encapsulants for oral drug delivery applications. After graduation, I worked as a research assistant at the Practical Genomics Laboratory (also in DLSU), where I did HPLC method development for the screening of plant-based immunostimulant sources for mangrove crab feed production. Now, I am a second-year Masters student in this laboratory, screening various drug candidates that inhibit HNMT activity.
